HOW TO INSTALL QUAKE 3 ARENA ON WINDOWS 10

1.Put CD in
2.IF your auto install box comes up, DO NOT INSTALL
3.Open disc to browse the CD
4.Find he Quake3 folder
5.Double click the Setup.exe file
6.Installation should now take place
7.Install FULL game and click next through all the prompts, the default are perfect
8.Upon completion a computer REBOOT is neccissary
9.After reboot, install the 1.32 patch

QUAKE 3 ARENA PATCH INSTALL

1.Go to the following website: http://nbquakers.com/downloads.htm
2.Under the DOWNLOADS heaer find PATCHES header
3.Click the "1.32 - For Windows (28 meg) When asked, click YES to install Punkbuster" link
4.Download the "q3pointrelease_132.exe" file
5.Double click q3pointrelease_132.exe file to install
6.Click YES to install PUNKBUSTER and the installation will continue
7.Thats it
8.Next to copy the map pack collection 1 for additional maps for the game

QUAKE 3 MAPs placement

1.Go to the following website: http://nbquakers.com/downloads.htm
2.Under the MAPS: header find "Map Pack Collection 1" link
3.Click the "Map Pack Collection 1: link and download the "q3mapscollection1.zip file
4.Unzip the zipped file "Map Pack Collection 1" to
5.Now all the maps in the folder must be copied into the folder "baseq3"
6.Go into the c:\Program Files\Quake III Arena\baseq3 and copy the maps in there
7.That's it!
